Eyes On Heaven was created after my friend and I had an encounter with God together after watching documentaries about the persecution in Nigeria and the underground churches in Iran. Our hearts were so stirred that we interceded and wept for our brothers and sisters from another continent. These faces carry stores of courage and the most authentic faith. The boy in the top is my sponsored children in Sanegal, Africa. The lady on the bottom left corner is a woman in Nigeria who confessed Jesus with a gun to her head and survived after getting her eyes shot out. The smile on her face marked me as she expressed how her Savior suffered for her. This piece is a reminder to not become complacent in our faith and pursue Jesus with everything we have.
